#  The Dashboard

###### 💼 Currency Wallet Control Panel Overview

This is your central hub for managing currency exposure, making strategic decisions, and acting on real-time market signals — all embedded within Okoora’s FX infrastructure.


###### 🏦 Opening a New Wallet

To create a wallet, define a **currency pair**:
Choose currencies used for:
* Supplier payments
* Customer receipts
* Operational expenses or cross-border invoices
📌 *Each selected currency opens a dedicated wallet — enabling targeted FX management.*

###### 📊 Dashboard Components

| Section | Description |
| ---- |
| **Free Balance** | Real-time display of available funds in the selected currency. |
| **Open Invoices** | Snapshot of your uploaded invoices (from the “Purchases” tab), showing real-time P&L impact. |
| **Current Hedge** | Total amount hedged and corresponding exposure for the currency pair. |
| **Market Risk Graph** | Visualizes FX risk trend over the last 60 days for the selected pair. |
| **Future Exchange Rate** | Displays current forward rate (FX future) for contract-based pricing — updates per selected wallet. |

### 🔄 Action Tools
| Action | Purpose |
| ---- |
| **Convert Now** | Execute a spot conversion between the currencies in your wallet — reflected in both sides. Market rates apply. |
| **Hedge** | Activate SafeUp/RangeUp strategies to lock in protection. Use the simulator to preview P&L impact. |
| **‘+’ Button** | Quick actions: Create alert, new payment, conversion, or hedge directly from any wallet. |
| **The Diary** | Timeline view of all past and upcoming FX actions. Filter by week or month for clarity. |

**Dashboard overview:**

__Free balance:__
The free balance section presents the balance available in this currency.

__Open Invoices:__
This is a quick view of the "Purchases" tab.
It shows the status of the invoices you uploaded and summarizes the profit and loss.

__Current hedge:__
Presents the current hedge amount and the total exposure

__Market risk graph:__
Presents the current risk level for the currencies pair selected comparing the last 60 days

__Future exchange rate:__
A currency future (also called an FX future), is a contract to exchange currencies on a future date at a fixed price (exchange rate).
Please note that this section changes when moving between wallets.

__Convert now:__
Converting currencies according to the currencies defined in the wallet.  This activity will be shown on both wallets. The rates are constantly updated according to the market rate.

__Hedge:__
Protect your funds (Safe up/ Range up) trading consecutive up/down days means going against the most recent momentum. Use our profit/loss simulator

__The '+' button:__
Here you can create a new alert, new payment, new convert, and new hedge.
