# How to set up alerts

**Okoora platform allows you to stay on top of your finances effortlessly with our user-friendly alert system! Get instant notifications on exchange rate changes and wallet balance updates, so you're always in the loop and ready to make informed decisions. Managing your money has never been this easy and convenient!**

You can easily create alerts that will notify you about __Exchange rate__ or __Wallet balance update__

**Exchange Rate:**
If you want to be notified of the exchange rate that reaches your desired destination, go to Add alert >> Exchange Rate
You will be required to choose the currency you want to Buy and Sell, the Desired Target rate, and the Due Date

Excellent, you will receive an email notification if the rate reaches the desired rate before the target date!


**Wallet balance**
In order to help you track your account activity, you can set a 'Wallet balance' notification that will alert you for incoming or outgoing funds.

* The email will be sent to the primary email defined in the account.
* You can always edit/delete your alerts
