# How to send Payments FAQ

###### 💸 Effortless Transfers with Okoora

Initiate secure cross-border payments in just a few clicks — all within Okoora’s FX-protected infrastructure.

###### 🚀 How to Make a Transfer

1. **Navigate to Payments -** Left-hand menu → **Payments**
2. **Choose Transfer Type**
* `Single Payment` – One recipient, one transaction
* `Mass Payment` – Multiple payments in one file (ideal for payroll or vendors)
3. **Enter Transfer Details Fill in:**
* Beneficiary
* Amount
* currency
* Payment method 

⚠️ **Important Notes**
* **Beneficiary must be pre-approved** in your contact list before initiating the payment.
* **Processing time:** Transfers typically settle within **three business days** (subject to destination and currency).
