# How to add money

**To get started with the Okoora platform, you'll need to transfer money into the system. In the next section, we'll walk you through the simple steps to do this smoothly. Stick around for a clear guide on starting your Okoora journey💫**

**Add money to your Okoora account**
To transfer money to your Okoora wallet, you must first create an account with the desired currency.
Go to "Add Money" (Top right corner of the dashboard) > Other currencies > select the desired currency:

That's it, your account is ready, you can transfer money directly to this account or give it to your customers to receive payments easily.

|| Each currency requires a different account, which means that if you want to receive EUR for example, you have to transfer the funds to your __EUR account__.
